Syarikat Lian Ping Enterprise Sdn Bhd is the pioneer in the furniture manufacturing and interior renovation industry in Malaysia. Since its establishment in 1961 by Mr. Tay Teck Sim, the company has remained a leader in its field.
Mr. Tay Teck Sim, a self-taught carpenter left China for Singapore when he was 21 years old. He began as a furniture maker and sub-contractor for interior renovation works. He later moved to Malaysia to set up his own interior renovation company.
The Company s first major project was the renovation of Hilton Hotel in 1972. The success of this project made the Company one of the top interior renovation and furniture manufacturers that it still is today. Subsequently, we were also given the opportunity to be involved in prestigious projects such as Shangri-La Hotel K.L., The Regent Hotel K.L., Micasa Hotel & Service Apartment K.L., The Riverside Majestic Hotel in Kuching and many others.
In 1992, we were awarded our first overseas project. The success of renovating Berjaya Beach Resort & Casino at Le Morne, Mauritius has encouraged the Company to expand its business overseas.
Today, Syarikat Lian Ping Enterprise Sdn Bhd has more than 40 employees and 150-200 workers. The Company s 30 years experience and commitment ensure that every customer gets the best workmanship and service whether for the renovation of hotels, apartment, offices, departmental stores or bungalows.
Scope of Services :
1) LP is able to produce custom made furniture based on the requirement of the clients.
2) LP also has its own standard range of hotel furniture, which is suitable for hotels, resorts and service apartments.
3) LP can also provide a one stop design and sourcing, which means that LP will provide a conceptual design, layout ,selection of light features, soft furnishings, carpets, doors and so forth.
4) LP can also undertake the complete interior renovating work in overseas. LP will act as a turnkey contractor, which means we will provide complete service from conceptual, planning, design, project management, contracting, to product sourcing.
